Residential New Construction
Custom homes built from the ground up across Tampa Bay — wood frame, block, steel, modular, and precast concrete. Licensed GC from foundation to final walkthrough.
Built Right. Built to Last.
Building a new home is the largest investment most families make. NextDen Construction manages every phase — design coordination, permitting, structural work, MEP trades, and interior finish — under one licensed general contractor.
We serve Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinellas, and Hernando counties. Every project starts with a detailed scope, a written proposal, and a realistic schedule — no surprises.
Construction Methods We Build
We build with the method that best fits your site, budget, and goals. Here's what each option delivers.
Wood Frame
The most common residential build method in Florida. Dimensional lumber framing offers design flexibility, fast build times, and cost-effectiveness. Ideal for custom floor plans and two-story homes.
- Lower material cost
- Design flexibility
- Fast construction timeline
- Easy to modify during build
Concrete Block (CBS)
Concrete Block Structure (CBS) construction is highly popular in Florida for its durability against hurricanes, pests, and moisture. Block walls provide superior thermal mass and fire resistance.
- Hurricane-resistant
- Pest & rot resistant
- Superior thermal performance
- Lower insurance premiums
Steel Frame
Structural steel framing offers unmatched strength and spans for open floor plans. Used for premium custom homes, large garages, and structures requiring long clear spans without load-bearing walls.
- Maximum structural strength
- Long clear spans
- Dimensionally stable
- Fire and pest resistant
Modular Construction
Factory-built modules assembled on your lot. Controlled manufacturing environment reduces weather delays and material waste. Faster completion timeline with consistent quality standards.
- Faster build timeline
- Factory quality control
- Less on-site waste
- Cost-competitive
Precast Concrete
Pre-formed concrete panels manufactured off-site and assembled on your foundation. Exceptional strength, energy efficiency, and acoustic performance. NextDen's preferred method for durable, low-maintenance builds.
- Exceptional durability
- High energy efficiency
- Superior sound insulation
- Low lifetime maintenance
Our Build Process
New construction is complex. We make it manageable with a clear process and a dedicated project manager at every step.
Site Evaluation
We assess your lot, soil conditions, utilities, and local zoning to determine the best build approach and flag any challenges before breaking ground.
Design & Permitting
We work with your architect or connect you with one. We manage all permit applications and ensure plans meet current Florida Building Code.
Foundation & Structure
Foundation type — slab, stem wall, or elevated — is selected based on site conditions. All structural work is inspected and code-compliant.
MEP Rough-In
Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough-in by licensed subcontractors, coordinated and scheduled by our project manager.
Envelope & Exterior
Roof, windows, doors, insulation, and exterior finishes installed and weatherproofed before interior work begins.
Interior Finish
Drywall, flooring, cabinetry, trim, fixtures, and paint. Every detail managed through our scope with quality inspections at each phase.

We walk every room with you, address your punch list, and only consider the project complete when you sign off.
