Legendary Tampa bakery, Alessi, crafts a massive Gingerbread House

Legendary Tampa bakery Alessi announced the return of its beloved traditional gingerbread house guessing contest. Guests can marvel at a massive gingerbread house and participate in two guessing challenges. It’s a feast for the eyes, mind, and stomach—we appreciate you, Alessi.

Candy Guess: Guess how many pieces of candy appear on the gingerbread house for a chance to win a $200 gift card.
Time to Build Guess: Estimate how many hours and minutes it took to create the gingerbread house for a chance to win a $100 gift card.

Alessi Bakery spreads holiday cheer in Tampa

The competition runs until December 23. Alessi will announce the winner that afternoon.

Alessi is located at 2909 W Cypress Street and has served the Tampa community for 112 years. In 2025, the bakery will move to a space just down the road. The new space will include more room for visitors to sit and enjoy the baked goods and a full bar.
