Big Hillsborough River cleanup event set for November

Join the community for a rewarding cleanup along the Hillsborough River, followed by an exciting after-party at Coppertail Brewing Co. (2601 E 2nd Ave). Participants will enjoy giveaways, a complimentary beer, and the chance to win prizes like annual family passes to the Glazer Children’s Museum.

The event is scheduled for Wednesday, November 13, starting at 3:30 p.m., with check-in at 4802 N Blvd, Tampa, FL 33603. After a brief safety talk, volunteers will set out to collect trash and help beautify the Hillsborough River.

At 5 p.m., everyone will gather to measure the impact of their efforts, take a group photo, and head over to Coppertail Brewing Co. for a free beer and more festivities.

Volunteers are encouraged to bring water, sunscreen, and snacks. For safety, closed-toe or water shoes are recommended. All necessary cleanup supplies, including gloves, pickers, and trash bags, will be provided.
